Your city needs you. Young people must contribute their voices to the way we design and plan our spaces this will help us make sure they can be enjoyed by all generations, both now and in the future. We are always keen to get more young people involved in My City Too and ensure that as many young Londoners’ views are heard as possible in improving London's urban fabric.
We typically work with young people who are interested in community action projects, design, architecture and the built environment, and have a strong interest in improving London spaces for the wider London society.
We are also keen to work with young people who have an interest in campaigning and influencing policy, which contributes to our core aim of getting young people views and aspirations for London’s built environment heard by decision makers.
We have good links with universities and architectural practices and have facilitated work experience placements.
All our programmes are free and we reimburse travel (and provide lunch and refreshments).
If you would like to get involved with our programme and any of our activities, please get in touch with the My City Too team.
“I joined the My City Too scheme already with an interest in architecture and the built environment, but I feel participating in the program has provided me with the skills to articulate my beliefs. As well as this, My City Too offers the opportunity to socialise and view some of the capital’s most controversial areas. I would strongly consider continuing with the scheme into adult life and would like to see Mt City Too expand through peer mentoring and other discussion based workshops.”
